Things to do in Corvo
Corvo is the smallest inhabited island in the Azores, home to roughly 400 people in a single settlement, Vila do Corvo, on the northern coast. The rest of the island is taken up almost entirely by the Caldeirão, a volcanic crater you can drive or hike to the rim of in under an hour from the village.
As the westernmost point of Europe, it is often sold as a quick side trip from Flores, but the crossing (by small plane or boat) is one of the most weather-dependent in the archipelago and gets cancelled frequently, especially between November and February.
Plan a spare day if this matters to your itinerary, and treat any booked crossing as provisional until you are actually on board.
