Good to know
- the Azores use Type A & B sockets — the same two round-pin plugs used across mainland Portugal and most of continental Europe — at 120V / 60Hz.
- Most phone, laptop and camera chargers are dual-voltage (100–240V) — you usually only need a plug adapter, not a voltage converter. Type C and Type F plugs are standard here; North American flat two-pin plugs and UK three-pin plugs do not fit — check the label and shape of your charger.
